# White-label production

> White-label production means a subcontractor produces the work while the agency delivers it under its own name. The end client sees the agency's brand, the agency keeps the relationship and the pricing, and the subcontractor never appears externally.

The model is used by agencies that want to take on more work than their own staffing allows, or that lack a specific skill — motion, 3D or web development, for example — but do not want to turn the job down.

What decides whether it works is the workflow: shared templates, a clear brief, agreed response times, and all editable source files travelling with the delivery so the agency fully owns the result.
